At the event, you get to select two soups from our generous food donors to enjoy with family and friends. A silent auction preview will take place at the event; bidding will take place online after the event so more can participate.
Tickets will be available at Crackpots' studio or online via the OUR Center in January.
Longmont's Empty Bowls fundraiser is unique in the way the entire community participates in the making of the bowls. From January 2nd through the end of February, Crackpots waives the Studio Fee for anyone who wishes to donate a bowl to the OUR Center. The cost of the "official" donation bowl is $18. These bowls are taken directly to the OUR Center and become the focal point of the big event in March. Over the years, people have made Empty Bowl painting a tradition and enjoy including friends and family in this fun and worthwhile activity. Crackpots is dedicated to helping the OUR Center get the word out about all the amazing things they do in our community during this time and throughout the year. We are proud that we were able to help the Empty Bowls fundraiser survive through the pandemic (when the OUR Center needed it most) by pivoting in many creative ways to ensure funds were raised for this worthy cause. We're so proud that Empty Bowls has survived and flourishes as their biggest and most important fundraiser. We couldn't do it without YOU, the surrounding community full of wonderful artistes!
